2020 Dealer Training Sessions
New Dealer Training Sessions from Albany Doors
Albany Doors is now offering expanded monthly training sessions at our Lawrenceville, GA location. These sessions will take place over the course of two days on the following dates:
March 17-18
April 21-22
May 19-20
June 23-24
July 21-22
August 18-19
September 22-23
October 20-21
November & December dates TBD
All sessions have a minimum attendance requirement of six (6) attendees. Scheduling is subject to change if this requirement is not met.
Please review the following and then use the sign-up form in order to receive an invitation. *Space is limited, so please submit your information as soon as possible.
These courses all have the following general goals:
- Understand, at a basic to intermediate level, doors and parts installation
- Troubleshoot major electrical and mechanical components
- Receive detailed information regarding each component on door controllers and how to troubleshoot issues
- Solve common problems of mechanical failures including: curtain rolls crookedly, door reverses itself when closing, door closes but is faulty and other issues commonly addressed when supporting technical problems
Specifically, we will introduce students to the servicing and technical support of our controllers: ACS50, ACS100 and MCC
The Required background for these courses are as follows:
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Basic functions of a Multi-meter (AC Voltage, DC Voltage and Resistance)
- Basic understanding of 3 phase motors
- Basic understanding of low voltage control systems
- Minimal exposure to high voltage testing and troubleshooting
- Reviewed the Operator’s manual
